Ola Tours and Trek also provides with Home Stay experiences to our guests. Visitor gets the opportunity to spend their times with Bhutanese family [farmer] and get yourself fully immerged in the life of normal Bhutanese. Here the visitors will get to experience the authentic Bhutanese lifestyles starting from the meals they eat; place they live and sleep. Household chores, their daily work routines with domestic animals, paddy fieldworks and everything a village Bhutanese do for living. One can also participate in their daily routine, talk to them, share meals and experience it at hand.
Note: Please note that the Home Stay would not be that facilitated like you expect to get in the hotels. It would be totally in a typical Bhutanese style however you will get all the basic facilities a tourist would need since it is regulated by the Tourism Council of Bhutan. So they have to through a certain standard to be qualified to host International Tourists.
Home Stay Tour (5 nights / 6 Days)
Day 01. Arrive at Paro (2400 meters) – Thimphu (Altitude 2320 m, 54 km):
You will be received by the Representative from Ola Tours and Trek at the airport and drive to Thimphu.
Visit Tamchog Monastery on the way.
After lunch,

Changangkha Monastery
Takin Preserve centre
The Largest and tallest statue of Buddha in the world
Tashichho Dzong.

Day 02. Thimphu – Punakha (1310 meters): (72 Km, 2 hrs drive).
After breakfast, drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (3116 m)
Dochula – You can see the higher Himalayas, if the weather permits

Punakha Dzong – Built in 1637, by Shabdrung Ngawang.

Day 03. Punakha – Wangdiphodrang – Thimphu: (Altitude 1310 m, 90 km, 2 hours)

Chimi Lhakhang
Wangdiphodrang Dzong razed by fire in 2012 and now under construction.
Walk to Rinchengang Village.
After lunch, drive to Thimphu. Free for shopping in the evening.
Day 04. Thimphu – Paro: (Altitude 2320 m, Distance 58 km, Drive Time 1 hour):
After breakfast, visit

Painting School.
Folk Heritage Museum.
After lunch, visit
Handicrafts Emporium.
Dinner and overnight at Farm House
