Paro Tshechu is one of the biggest festivals in the country. On the first day, all mask dances are held inside the courtyard of the Dzong. In the subsequent days, the courtyard outside the Dzong hosts the festival.
Paro Tshechu Day 01. Arrive Paro (Altitude 2400 m)

Paro Tshechu Day 08. Paro Festival (Festival Day 01).
After breakfast, you will witness the Paro Festival. It is a good time to meet the local people in their finest costumes. This is a special time for the local people to relax and also a time for prayer.
Day 09. Paro Festival (Festival Day 02):
In the morning, you can witness the festival.
After lunch, you can drive to Chelala pass (3980m) which is the highest motorable road in Bhutan. On a clear day, you can see Jumolhari Mountain and Jichu Drake bordering Tibet.
